2010 New Zealand Jet Boat Marathon

The event is well underway in the planning stages and looking to be a great event with over 30 teams putting there hands up already. Along with up to 4 international driver’s turning up in a variety of boats will make this a interesting and fun event, there is also noises that more Turbine’s may be at the start line to see if they can succeed.

The programme is designed to mix some tight hard rivers along with the faster open rivers of the Buller and will be a great mix of rivers.

Sunday 10th Spit roast banquet dinner and Drivers sweepstake so come along and bet on your driver.
Monday 11th Last chance to pre-boat the Wairau before tech inspection from 2pm.
Tuesday 12th Four legs on the Mighty wee Wairau
Wednesday 13th up the Wairau and down the Buller in the afternoon with the night in Westport
Thursday 14th up the Buller and down the grey in the afternoon
Friday 15th up and down the tricky Taramakau , 4 legs if time permits.
Saturday 16th up and down a long grey/Ahaura
And prize giving.
